Fotografisk Kommunikation

På uddannelsen i Fotografisk Kommunikation lærer du at tage billeder til reklamer og anden kommunikation. Du kommer til at arbejde inden for mange genrer af fotografi og filmiske virkemidler; fx portræt, arkitektur, landskab, mode, mad, stilleben, og interaktion mellem mennesker og omgivelser. Og du lærer at tage billeder til forskellige medier – både trykte og digitale. Læs også om erhvervsfotografering.

Fotojournalistuddannelsen

FotojournalistuddannelsenPå fotojournalistuddannelsen lærer du at tage journalistiske fotografier, der fortæller historier fra virkeligheden.  Et godt pressefoto giver den skrevne artikel ekstra betydning, og lader modtageren opleve historien på en anden måde.

Fotojournalister er også journalister, og derfor skal du lære at håndtere hele den journalistiske arbejdsproces, blandt andet at:  idéudvikle researche analysere interviewe formidle til en given målgruppe.

Du lærer at bruge de fototekniske virkemidler, som gør dig i stand til at formilde visuelle historier, der berører modtagerne.  Du kommer til at tage tusindvis af fotografier til mange forskellige formål og mange forskellige medier – både trykte og digitale.

Grafisk Design

På Grafisk Design lærer du at forstærke budskaber ved at bruge visuelle udtryk. Man kan også sige, at du designer måden, kommunikationen skal ”se ud på”.

På Grafisk Design lærer du at udvikle sammenhængende visuelle identiteter for forskellige kunder, fx virksomheder. Dvs. ikke bare et enkelt logo, men et samlet grafisk udtryk, der understøtter virksomhedens brand og bliver brugt alle de steder, virksomheden kommunikerer, fx på brevpapir, plakater, emballage, brochurer, tv-reklamer, website og facadeskilte.

Du skal også lære at researche og analysere, inden du kaster dig ud i at designe, for at afgøre hvilket design, der virker bedst på den målgruppe, du skal kommunikere med.

Du kommer til at arbejde med tekstens visuelle udtryk – typografi og design af fonte – og lærer at skabe balance mellem tekst og billeder.

Interaktivt Design

På Interaktivt Design bliver du trænet i at udvikle interaktive koncepter til digitale medier. Du lærer både det grafiske håndværk, og at bruge teknologien kreativt og innovativt.

Design er problemløsning og på Interaktivt Design specialiseres du i at løse kommunikationsproblemer på digitale medieplatforme. Det kan være online magasiner, kampagner, spil, TV-grafik og virksomheder og organisationers websites.

Webdesign og interaktive designprodukter er en vigtig del af uddannelsen. Vi designer til forskellige målgruppers adfærd på nettet, samt interaktive reklamekampagner og apps til mobiltelefoner og andre mobile enheder, som fx tablets.

Motion Graphics Design er en anden central disciplin på Interaktivt Design. Du lærer at animere grafik, lyd og levende billeder til tv og film, mobile enheder og interaktive skærme.

Du lærer at researche og analysere, og på den baggrund udvikle løsninger på forskellige kommunikationsproblemer til forskellige målgrupper.

Kommunikationsuddannelsen

Kommunikationsuddannelsen lærer dig at formidle klare budskaber som modtagerne kan forstå.

Du kommer til at arbejde strategisk og målgruppeorienteret med kommunikation for forskellige typer af organisationer med forskellige typer af interessenter og kunder.

Du lærer at gennemskue et bredt spekter af kommunikationsplatforme – analoge, digitale og sociale medier mv. – og vurdere, prioritere og begrunde valg af kanaler ved konkrete kommunikationsopgaver.

Du vil også komme til at producere og udvikle indhold, fx tekst, foto, video, lyd, og styre projekter fra idé over produktudvikling til måling af effekt og opfølgning.

Kreativ Kommunikation

kreativ kommunikationPå Kreativ Kommunikation lærer du at udvikle kreative idéer og kommunikere budskaber ud til bestemte målgrupper via en bred vifte af forskellige medier.

Du kommer til at arbejde med kreativitet, idégenerering, problemformulering, konceptudvikling, indsigter, research, tekstforfatning, art direction og branding, og at udvikle reklamekampagner til alle medietyper og kommunikationskanaler.

Du kommer til at arbejde praktisk på tværs af en lang række medier. Alt fra magasiner, aviser, brochurer og outdoor (fx plakater og billboards) til web, tv, film, mobil, content, ambient media, events, produktudvikling og storydoing.

Medieproduktion

Du skal tage uddannelsen, fordi du gerne vil være midt- og omdrejningspunkt for projekter, produktioner og mennesker, og fordi du gerne vil kombinere projektledelse, økonomi, forretningsforståelse og kommunikation med en forståelse for medier og medieverden.

Du får en grundlæggende viden om medier, mediernes udvikling, forretningsmodeller og hvordan du leder produktion af trykte og digitale medier.

Du får viden om og får mulighed for at få træning i at varetage planlægning, projektledelse og samarbejde.

Projektlederen koordinerer samarbejdet mellem mange forskellige medarbejdere, såsom tekniske eksperter, art directors, tekstforfattere, webprogrammører, grafikere, trykkere m.fl.

Som projektleder bliver det dig, der skal rådgive kunden om for eksempel pris på projekter, og give en samlet løsning på mulighederne inden for kundens budgetramme.

Derfor indgår: kravspecifikation, estimering af pris, tidsstyring, budgetlægning og-opfølgning, samt jura i undervisningen.

Du lærer også om grundlæggende markedsføring, kommunikation og målgrupper, så du bliver i stand til at rådgive kunder i, hvordan de bedst når ud til målgrupperne de ønsker at kommunikere med.

Grafisk Designer eller grafisk formgivning er en produktform som henviser til forskellige professionelle og kunstneriske udtryksformer som fokuserer på præsentation og visuelt budskab af et objekt i tryksager eller digitale medier.

Ved visualisering anvendes forskellige metoder til at skabe og kombinere symboler, billeder og tekst i en samlet og synlig præsentation, blandt andet ved anvendelse af typografi, synlig kunst og iøjnefaldende layouts, for at skabe det endelige resultat.

Arbejdet som grafisk designer

Arbejdet som grafisk designer kan bestå af mange forskellige opgaver alt afhængigt af, hvad du har specialiseret dig i.

Du kan fx arbejde med tryk til reklamer, aviser, bøger eller webportaler. For alle grafiske designere gælder det, at de skal have en særlig sans for visuelle udtryk. Det er vigtigt at være idérig og dygtig til at sammensætte farver og former, så det grafiske design passer til målgruppen og konteksten.

Det er ofte en fordel at være god til at tegne.  De fleste grafiske designere arbejder på reklamebureauer, på forlag eller kommunikationsbureauer. Der er desuden mange virksomheder, der har brug for grafiske designere.

Internettes historie

Medier Internet

I året 1945 da anden verdenskrig var slut kunne man nu få både ro og mulighed for at udvikle teknologien. Computeren var allerede blevet opfundet men det var internettet ikke. Første gang man begyndte at tænke på internettet var i 1940 ́erne og det selv samme år skrev elektronikingeniøren Vannevar Bush en artikel i bladet ”Atlantic Monthly” med titlen “As We May Think” som hanlede om at vi skulle opfinde noget som var offentligt, let at få adgang til og det skulle kunne rumme lige så meget som den menneskelige hjerne på en gang og selvfølgelig skulle alle kunne bruge det på samme tid. Det var der hvor folk begyndte at tænke på internettet Senere, i starten af 1960’erne havde en forsker hos CERN i Schweiz forudset at der ville komme en dag, hvor alle informationer i hele verden ville være linket sammen.

Idéen til internettet kan bedst sammenlignes med fodnoter i bøger og rapporter, samt litteratur lister, i stedet for at skulle på biblioteket og låne den bog om det der skete rundt i verden kunne man bare gå på sin computer og finde det.

ARPANET

I 1969 startede det amerikanske forsvar et forsøg, kaldet ARPANET som stod for (Advanced Research Projects Agency NETwork) hvor de opfandt et netværk.

Alle de organisationer som forsvaret arbejdede sammen med, havde deres egne netværk, og senere hen havde USA ́s militæret sit eget netværk kaldet MILNET som stod for (MILitary NETwork). De, der ønskede det, blev koblet på ARPANet. Så man både kunne sende og modtage forskellige informationer.

Grunden til at ARPANettet ikke kunne ødelægges, var at der ikke var nogen central men i stedet noget som kun USA ́s militær kunne bruge.

I starten var der dog problemer med sammenkoblingen til andre computere, fordi der blev brugt på vidt forskellige slags computere, fx Machintosh, Unix og PC. For at sammenkoble alle disse modeller lavede man et regelsæt for kommunikationen over netværket, kaldet Network Control Protocol. Det bestemte hvordan “data-pakkerne” skulle opdeles.

I starten bestod nettet af meget få computere, der ikke kunne andet end at overføre tekst til og fra hinanden. Senere i 70’erne kom først UUCP som stod for (Unix to Unix Copy Program), og senere kom Usenet, et sted hvor man kan sende beskeder ud på såkaldte newsgroups, og få svar tilbage hurtigt.

I 1980 var der ca 200 computere tilsluttet til Internettet. Et nyt net, BITNET laves i 1981. Det blev lavet til at forbinde de alle de amerikanske institutioner. BITNet (Because It’s Time Network)blev i Europa kaldet EARN (European Academic and Research Network)

TCP/IP

I 1982 lavede man et mere avanceret “regelsæt” med navnet TCP/IP som stod for (Transmission Control Protocol eller Internet Protocol), som stadig bruges i dag. TCP/IP er det kommunikationssystem som styrer trafikken og pakkesystemet på Internet.

Et universitet i London havde det første ikke-amerikanske netværk, som blev forbundet til ARPANet. Det skete i 1980 og på det tidspunkt var der koblet 213 computere på ARPANet.

På grund af ARPANet’s overvældene succes blev det i 1983 delt i den til mange andre offentlig computere.

I 1986 oprettede den amerikanske forskningsorganisation, National Science Foundations, et net kaldet NSFNet. Det blev så populært, at næsten alle USA’s universiteter og skoler blev koblet på. NSFNet bestod af fem supercomputere, som stod i hver sin region i USA og var forbundet gennem telefonnettet. Universiteterne blev koblet på NSFNet ved at ringe op til den nærmeste supercomputer, og på den måde blev telefonregningerne ikke skyhøje. Desuden blev nogen koblet til et netværk, som var koblet til NSFNet, og på den måde blev NSFNet et netværk som alle kunne bruge. Alle der var logget på NSFNet kunne kommunikere elektronisk med alle andre brugere der var tilknytet netværket. Der skete en voldsom vækst af antallet af computere, der var forbundet med NSFNet som senere blev udviklet til Internettet som vi kender i dag. I 1987 er antallet af computere på nettet så oppe på 33.000.

De første skridt mod World Wide Web blev taget i 1989 af nogle forskere på det schweiziske institut for partikelfysik, CERN.

WWW

1990 var året hvor det oprindelige ARPANET lukkede og NSFNET blev brugt i stedet for.
På det tidspunkt var Internettet ikke særligt brugervenligt – man skulle være meget præcis med indtastninger og det var svært at finde de informationer man skulle bruge. Derfor oprettede erfarne brugere nogle søgeværktøjer som stadig bruges og udvikles i dag, fx Archie, Gopher, Wais og WWW (World Wide Web), det er også det vi bruger i dag som fx www.google.com.

Tim Berners-Lee, der arbejder hos CERN, skriver det første Web-klient-server-software og definerer specifikationerne for URL (Uniform Resource Locator), HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) og HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol) og dermed starter det, vi kender som World Wide Web. Han programmerer også de første programmer til Internet.

I 1991 har antallet af computere på nettet allerede passeret 500.000. Trafikken på NFS backbone netværk overskrider 1 trillion bytes pr. måned. CERN frigiver World Wide Web, udviklet af Tim Berners-Lee. World Wide Web er skabt. Pludselig blev Internettet brugervenligt, mere end vi havde set før og det var der hvor det begyndte det at gå stærkt.

Det amerikanske forsvarsministerium trækkede sig ud af Internetsamarbejdet for i stedet at opbygge det lukkede MILNet som kun de selv kunne bruge. I den forbindelse ophæver den amerikanske regering begrænsningerne for kommerciel brug af nettet. Internet bliver herefter videreført af uddannelsesinstitutionerne.

I 1992 skete det, som gjorde Internettets så populært. Ved CERN i Schweiz skabtes World Wide Web, som blev det der gjorde internettet til det som det er i dag.

I 1993 fremkom Mosaic, som hurtigt blev efterfulgt af Netscape i 1994. Mosaic er ikke den første browser, som kunne vise billeder og afspille film med lyd.

Microsoft

Microsoft lavede sin egen version af et internet nemlig: Internet Explorer. I første omgang var Explorer et simpelt, næsten ubrugeligt, stykke software, men jo flere opdateringer der kom til Explorer jo mere udviklede Explorer sig. Med version 3.0 fik Microsoft mere end 50 millioner folk fra hele verden på nettet.
